Biography
Ephraim Shalom Samuel(Sam) is a 13-year-old classical piano student from the ‘KM Music Conservatory’, Chennai, India. He has been learning Piano since April 2018 under the tutelage of Dr. Surojeet Chatterji and his assistant Mr. Puneet Sharma. He secured Bronze Medal in the” Joyeux Music International Festival and Competition for Young Pianists 2021, Singapore”. And in “3 rd Vienna International Music Competition 2021”, received a participatory award with the Jury specially mentioning his “Quality of Performance” as one among the top 20 contestants.” Also he was runners up at “The Pianist” competition by CASIO (Chennai edition) in 2019 at the state level. As a toddler, Shalom(Sam) amazed everyone around with his exemplary singing, wherein he would sing pitch-perfect all the Hymns along with the Church Choir. Inspired by the joy he expressed in singing, at the age of 6, he was initiated into vocal singing by his mother, accompanying himself with his little keyboard and has recorded many song covers both gospel and secular in his youtube channel. He aspires to be a Pianist, Singer and a composer of repute.
